Contest Rules

Limitations: One winner per household, listeners can only win one GolfcourseOnline.com and/or ESPN 1000 - $500 Cash contest prize (including, but not limited to: phone in, email, or postal entry) once per week for the 10 weeks of the events. In the event of contests requiring telephone or fax entries, sponsors are not responsible for the inability of caller to complete the call within specified time whether due to telephone equipment malfunctions, disconnections, busy lines, or other circumstances. Only calls to the designated telephone number will be eligible to win. In the event of contests requiring mail entries (postal or electronic), GolfcourseOnline.com and/or ESPN 1000 and its sponsors are not responsible for the timeliness of delivery or electronic malfunctions that may effect the delivery or content of the entry, neither are they responsible for misdirected, illegible, postage-due, or lost mail. Decision of the judges is final. All participants agree to be bound by these rules. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

Prizes: Prizes are specified within individual contest rules. Prizes are transferable and are also non-exchangeable. No substitution or cash equivalent will be made. GolfcourseOnline.com and/or ESPN 1000, reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the awarded prize in unavailable for any reason, without notice. Subject to change based on prize availability. The event must be played in full to redeem prizes, no prizes will be awarded if the event is considered a rain-out by discretion of the event organizers. Subject to change without notice.

Claiming the Prize: Winners agree to come to the event on the specified day to redeem event prizes, or if won online, winners will come to the station/local office to provide proof of age and identity (photo identification a must) and to execute an affidavit of eligibility, indemnification, and release within 30 days of winning. Prizes can be mailed, so long as winner completes a mail release form and also agrees that US Postal service is acceptable for prizes under $100 of value. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of prize. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner(s).

Rain Out Policy: The weather is unpredictable and in the case that the weather is not permissible to play, the host course will determine if the event can be played in mutual agreement with the event organizers. If the event does tee-off, and a rain episode cancels the remainder of the event, all participants will receive a voucher to return for golf on a different day. If the event doesn't tee -off, the event will not be made up and that specific location will be listed as a rain-out. All prizes will be suspended in either case for that location.

Age Limit: There is an age limit of 18 years old to participate in this event. Any player under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian in the same cart to play. No players under the age of 18 will receive any prizes or keys if they are eligible to play. Any player under 21 will not be able to participate in the Ketel One Challenge or beverage holes under any circumstance.
